Kwon Soon-woo (497th in the world, Korean military athletic unit) has confirmed his entry into the final stage of the men's singles at the ITF Andong International Tennis Championship (total prize money of $15,000).
Kwon Soon-woo took the match 2-1 (6-1 6-7 <8-10> 6-1) against Australia's Jake Delaney (472nd) who is the No. 1 seed in the semifinals on the 6th day of the competition at Andong Civic Stadium in Gyeongsangbuk-do on the 24th.

The ITF tournament is one level below the ATP Tour and Challenger tournaments in men's professional tennis.
It is Kwon's first chance to win the ITF singles title since 2016. In the meantime, Kwon has lifted the trophy twice in the ATP Tour and three times in the Challenger Tour.
Kwon Soon-woo, who finished joining the military earlier this year and is currently serving as a private, said after the game, "I'm not in a worse condition than I expected," adding, "I'm not in perfect condition, but I think I made it to the finals with my best efforts."
